UNFOLDING – About the work of Ute Strub
A film by Laura Lazzarin
Lively, concentrated, attentive – in this state are little children, if they can pursue their urge to explore by playing freely. Ute Strub not only wants to raise awareness about the importance of free play for children. She also wants adults to rediscover their own play instinct. Through the observation of seminars, in which Ute Strub works with parents and educators, and situations at “Strandgut”, the playroom she founded in Berlin, the film draws a multifaceted picture of the over 80-year-old pedagogue and her work.
